Basic & Advanced
The major elements of basic evasive driving techniques include vehicle dynamics, backing, and attack recognition. Through lessons, demonstrations, and practical exercises, clients will learn and demonstrate the proper mindset while utilizing a vehicle in multiple scenarios from those faced every day, to driving in a hostile, high-threat environment. Clients learn to incorporate tactical driving into situational awareness models by recognizing and mitigating potential threats while operating a vehicle under varying conditions and scenarios. These threats include potential accidents, ambushes, and barricades, along with vehicle-specific challenges such as proper braking techniques and skid control.
Motorcade / Convoy Operations
CSG’s course introduces the organization of motorcades and convoys and instructs clients in the proper conduct of their respective operations. Instruction addresses the types, configurations, and differences in high-visibility and low-signature movement techniques. By working in each of the various positions in the motorcade/convoy, clients will understand driver and agent responsibilities, practice proper multiple vehicle movement techniques, and learn methods for emergency situations during movement.
CSG offers a full night of tactical driving instruction using Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) that incorporates motorcade drills, offensive/defensive tactics in low-light conditions, and mounted and unmounted tactical decision making for both close protection and convoy operations.
